What kind of crisis or replacement of 95 of suspension Explorer needs if you have an automatic air travel?

I have a 1995 Ford Explorer with 220k miles on it with automatic Air Ride. The compressor is maintained over a long period of time where the LRA is lit. The suspension is loose and bright at highway speeds, so it may need work. I took it to a mechanic and said air springs are not bad, but if it is necessary to replace then which will cost about $ 1,000 per discharge. Does anyone know what the suspension of work shall be done in one of those trucks with ARS, and how I would have this work? I feel it will be to take down since I know nothing of this ARS suspension and ask the mechanics of the truly fundamental issues respect.
