2006 Honda Accord wih 50,000 miles shakes around 40mph?

I thought it was alignment and balancing so I had that done. I even bought new tires but I don’t think that is the problem. I am not good with cars at all but I noticed something today….when the rpms get to 1 1/2 on the gauge going 40 it sometimes shakes but if it is at 2 rpms on the gauge it doesn’t. It only shakes when it drops down to 1 1/2. Also, if I put the car in D3, it automatically starts at 2 rpms which means that it never shakes. What could it be? Is it the transmission?

Check the wheels for any bends. It is something you may not be able to see while the car is on the ground. You would need to jack up the car and look at the backsides of the wheels or take each wheel off individually and inspect them. Any slight bend would cause your car to shake.
