Snaffle bit – Western and English?
When I first got my horse a friend gave me a black western snaffle bridle with a snaffle bit but I ride english.
I used the bridle a few times, but my saddle is brown and I was embaressed about not matching. I’m going to buy a brown English snaffle bridle, can I use the bit that my friend gave me with my new bridle?
The great thing about riding horses is you and your horse makes the rule there are general ideas that make it easier but the best knowledge you will acquire comes from trial and error, that and not giving up on your horse just because she/he out smarts you once in a while (and they will).
So go ahead and try the bridle and if it works great and if it doesn’t hop off and switch them!
