what to do when my pc is on but the monitor remains black even when power cable is fixed?
My computer was at first asking for System Disk but when I rebooted it, the monitor remained black.
I have tested with other monitors and found that it is not the monitor which has a problem.
What do I do next is my question?
Check the connections of the power cord and the cord between the monitor and the computer. If the problem isn’t there, then try to give your monitor a power break (turn off your monitor for some minutes to relax) and try to open it again. If the problem insists, then the sure is you ‘ll need a technician to solve your problem.
Oh, and you mean the video card doesn’t have a problem… cause then it’s more difficult to resolve.
