Tennessee Walker/Bridle Question?
Hi,
My dad just bought the family a really sweet Tennessee Walker thats a real herd animal and is 4 1/2 years old but he seem just willing do anything faster than a walk unless he thinks he’s beening left behind. The owners before didn’t feed him grain he just grazed the pastore. Is he so lifeless because he needs grain or is there something else I could do to put a little more spunk in him?
Ok my other question was I had this old bridle along time ago that was soooo simple and I loved it but IDK what its called or where I could get it (the place I bought it before doesn’t stock it anymore.) It had a cheek piece but no throat lash or browband or noseband. The cheek piece was a attached to a cord the just went behind the horse’s ear. Anybody know what this kind of bridle is called?
You need to feed him some Very Good quality hay, not grain. Have your vet take a look at him and advise you on a worming schedule. The vet can also give you some suggestions on what to feed.
