How I can make a pewter Belt Buckle to help?
I'ma long time fan of Copenhagen, and was hoping to a belt at the top to my favorites can. My original idea was to cut a piece of metal the size of the lid, hook and loop welded to the strip, then glue the cover plate. Then I said I could simply hook and loop, has been head down the lid and pour in the molten tin, using the lid as a mold, the result is a piece Tin solid behind the cover that resists deformation of the tape, hold the lid in place and retain elements of the belt buckle unwavering. I can "use this process to my idea a reality and if so, where I can find the elements of tin?
I epoxying home of an "old" loop would be preferable for the merger of something and poured into the lid. Any molten metal burn to finish the deck and do not reach their goal. Trying to find a loop that fits within the housing and epoxy boards. If I could find the right size crimp could even face covered circular loop back and do not need glue.
