any one have a collegiate mentor dressage saddle?
Im looking for an affortable dressage saddle and thought about the collegiate mentor, how are they? are they comfortable?
I don’t ride dressage so I haven’t used this particular saddle, but I’ve ridden in a lot of collegiate saddles (Hunt Seat ones) and they are great. They’re well made, durable, comfortable, less expensive, etc.
Go to a tack shop and sit in it and see if you like it. Find out if you can try it on your horse to make sure he likes it and it fits well. Some places let you have a “test” period… like a week or so with the saddle before buying… if they offer that, take them up on it so you get some experience with the saddle before handing over your money.
Collegiates really are great.
