Will cycling inprove my running skills too?
I’m 14 and want to imrove my running skills by riding a bike.
Will it work?
Bevelbob is right, cycling does in fact shorten your hamstrings because of the extra strain on your quadriceps! In a cardio sense then yes it will but thats like saying will riding a horse make me a better driver? The 2 as sports don’t have much in common in terms of technique! But Triathlete’s and Duathlete’s are able to mix the 2 together just make sure you pay a lot of attention to extra stretching on your hamstrings!
