How much will it cost roughly to fix the front suspension on my VW Polo. Just wanna have an idea b4 get quote!
They said the suspension arms (I think) may need doing during my last MOT and now the car has a deep hum whenever you turn right when there is too much pressure on the front left wheel. Anyone got an idea whether its a bank buster?!?
bottom arms are about £25 each complete with the ball joint on the end! prob £50 each for back street garage to fit them,
the deep hum sounds like a wheel bearing, is it more like a growl?
these are reasonable too, had both my front done on a golf for £60 supplied and fitted, more cost effective to have both jobs done at once! as you have to take the outer end of the bottom arm off to replace the bearings!
