Frontier Trail
Making a trip to Santa Fe, NM?

I’m going to Santa Fe this summer and was wondering if anyone out there might have any travel advice. I work in an airport so know the whole security schpiel. Possible airlines are Frontier, Delta, and United.

Any tourist places I should make a point of checking out/avoiding? I’m planning on going to the Opera, and possibly a Chamber Music concert. I’m also an outdoors person, so any hiking trails, nature walks, etc. that I should go see?

Is there anything that the wide world of Yahoo thinks I’m missing? Help me out guys!

There are plenty of great things to do in Sante Fe. Visit scenic Santa Fe Plaza, with its many shops, restaurants, and cafes. New Mexico Museum of Art, where many of New Mexico’s artists are featured. The Palace of the Governors is the state’s history museum and a history library. Sante Fe Detours has some interesting walking tours in town.

Take a trip to Bandelier National Monument which is spectacular. They have many excellent hiking trails, including the Main Loop Trail and The Falls Trail.

In the nearby Sante Fe Forest, you can hike in the Pecos Wilderness area. It’s a very beautiful place.

The El Camino Real De Los Teja National Historic Trail in Sante Fe is an excellent hiking trail. Wear comfortable clothing and shoes. Here is a visitor hotline you can call for more information 505-988-6888.

Cohiti Canyon has a good mountain biking trail.
