What’s the best way to get in great shape in less than a month? (10 points fast!)?
I’m not overweight, but I want to be TONED and in good health in a months time. Anyone have an intense workout/diet routine to give me, or tips, and advice? Please help me out, I hate being unhealthy, I want to feel strong inside and out! Thanks in advance, and I’ll give 10 points to best answer as soon as YAHOO allows me to.
I’m in the same boat as you. Here’s what I recommend:
- Run : do this every other day, work your way up. If you can barely do a mile, run a mile, then work your way up to 2, 3 and so on.
- Yoga or Pilates : both will build your core, increase flexibility and tone
- Do weight training or take a fitness class that is a combination of cardio and strength training. This will build muscle tone and give you those coveted strong abs, arm and butt
A combination of cardio and weight/strength training will keep you fit – as long as you eat well. Throw out the chips, sugary sodas, candy, fatty meats and fried foods. Drink lots of water, chew on gum or veggies if you feel like a snack, and eat between 1,200 – 1,600 cals a day.
