lycra sheet question?
I’ve never used a lycra sheet, only regular blankets and rain sheets. I know they are typically used for keeping your horse clean and ready to show, but has anyone ever used them to keep your horse warm, or instead of double blankets? I have two horses, one that loves to bite tail flaps off of things, so something close would help the other stay a bit warmer. Thanks in advance!
I’ve put it under a blanket to prevent rubs. They can be expensive – but, are more resonable if you can sew it yourself or sometimes on ebay there’s some good deals. They’d get destroyed very fast if you just turned a horse out in the pasture with one one, but would last a while if turned out with a blanket and hood over the top. Best wishes…
