What will happen if I try and dye already dyed hair (black) to a medium/Light Brown?
My hair is naturally medium/light brown , and I have been dying it a soft black color, I have not dyed it in over two months and the black is fading but very very slowly. I want to dye it to a medium lightish brown, some people tell me just to do it and others say nothing will happen to the color. Also I have about almost an inch of roots showing , whats the best thing I can do?
Well if your dying it out of the box it will be hard. Its always easier to go from light to dark not dark to light. So i would get it done professionally if i were you. My sister tried to do the same thing, she has black hair and she wanted to try just normal brown and it didnt turn out at all. Getting it done professionally would definately turn out.
