what is a men’s size 50 exactly mean?

i bid on a men’s leather jacket and the size says “size 50′. what exactly does that mean? usually i see medium. large, extra large, xxl, etc. I don’t understand exactly what size that means. can anyone help me figure this out?

well usually men’s clothes are by waist size so it could be a 50 in. waist unless it is not American sizing.
