Which is better – a 6 inch or 10 inch contour gauge?
I am putting down vinyl tile in a bathroom and need to duplicate the contour of the bathtub. Is it better to get a 6 inch or a 10 inch contour gauge? It looks as though 6 inch would do this job, but is 10 inch more versatile? Plastic or metal?
Get a scriber. Then it doesn’t matter how long the piece is that you are working with. As a carpenter, I couldn’t be without mine. Given the choices you list, though, I’d go with 10″ metal. Hope this helps.
