What foot pedals should i get for my amp?

ok i have a line 6 (dont say anything to me its good) anyways what are some good foot pedals should i get. i like metalcore also i like the sounds of august burns red songs so what are some good ones?

You should ask yourself the question “what effect is my Line 6 missing that I would like to have?”.

I will say this, multi-effect pedals (like the Zoom or Digitech) can have some strange issues when used with a digital modeling amp like a Line 6.

I use an overdrive pedal in front of my Line 6 Vetta II, mainly because it’s one that I helped design and because there’s nothing modeled in the amp that’s close to it.

You’re probably best off using analog pedals in front of the Line 6. A distortion, EQ, or wah would probably be cool. If you’re playing with a lot of distortion in the amp, time-based effects (delay, reverb, phaser, flanger) won’t sound that good.
