Which mountain bike fork is better; RST Gila Plus T6 or Rock Shox Pilot?
I have a specialized hardrock sport from a couple years ago. It currently has an RST Gila Plus T6 fork (what it came with) My friend gave me a Rock Shox pilot fork and i am thinkng about replacing my old fork. Which one is better? Also any tips on replacing forks?

I would go with the pilot. I had a bike that came with the RST stock, and i had nothing but trouble with it. I’m not sure if RockShox even makes the Pilot any more, so getting parts for it might be difficult. But a similar model would be the Tora. As for replacing them, i would take it to a shop if you don’t have any experience in it. It might set you back about $60 for labor. But i like to be better safe than sorry. Have fun with it!
