Synthetic saddle for Western Pleasure?
I would really like to show seriously in Western Pleasure with my horse this summer, but I only have a worn out barrel saddle and a black synthetic trail saddle. So I have been looking for a nice leather saddle (not necisarrily a WP saddle) to show in, and I really don’t want to spend $2000 on a pleasure saddle. I saw a really nice saddle that wasn’t too expensive, and looked like a pleasure saddle, but with no silver, but it was fake leather.
Is it okay to show in?

*Note: I show in open shows, not rated or anything really serious or competitive. There are a lot of not-so-flashy saddles in the WP classes, but I’ve never seen a synthetic one.
As your riding, the judge will not be able to differentiate between synthetic and leather on that saddle.
You can do it with this one with the shows you are referring to.
You can also buy bling to put on your saddle on ebay if you choose to.
If it fit my mule *nothing ever does* I would buy it and use it.
