Why do people insist on calling a scooter a moped?
It seems to me that most people out there concider a 49cc scooter a moped.IF YOU DON’T PEDDEL IT LIKE A BICYCLE TO START IT IT’S A SCOOTER!!!

Bob, it`s because of Ignorant Hicks. They also dont believe that you need a license to drive a moped (or a 50cc scooter) when in actuality its that they DO need a DL and they also need an Endorsement if it exceeds 30mph!
So, Bob, the people who call scooters a Moped (stands for MOtorPEDals just to clear the record) did not watch QUADROPHENIA, and apparently have never gone on a scooter rally, done the Beer Bungee(etc) and have no clue.
We cannot teach the world here, Just make some stickers to put on all the Chinese 50cc plastic scooters you see around town!
