is it possible to buy an adapter to convert a campagnolo cassette to fit a freewheel hub?

I have a Hed disc wheel with a six speed freewheel (screw on) but I would like if possible to put a modern 9 speed cassette on instead to work with my current campagnolo groupset.
The six speed works ok but doesn’t shift through the gears too well and I would also like to have a wider range of gears.

This is not possible, however, if you look around, you might be able to find an 8 speed freewheel, if you have enough space for it. It might be possible to replace your axle if your current one is too short. You would also have to make sure your frame has 130mm spacing at the rear dropouts. As for shift quality, a newer freewheel would probably improve shifting. I use an 8 speed Sachs freewheel with Campagnolo 8 speed bar end shifters, and shifting is Very Good. If you want indexed shifting, you will also have to change your shifters, and make sure that your rear derailleur is designed for indexed shifting.
