Grand Marquis, when i start it up it immediatly dies unless i step on the gas and dies when stop at lite ??/?
ok when i Start it up it dies unless i hit the gas really fast and when i go to back up, i let off brakes and hit gas it just dies, and if im driving down road once finally get it moving and i come to a red light the engine starts to die down then just shuts off, what could this be ? i dont know really anything about cars and wondering if someone could help me out

I think you have a number of problems, but they are all relatively minor fixes. It’s dying upon start up because your fuel filter is blocked. Check your float levels while you’re at it. Do a tune up which should include new plugs and rotor / points. Get your timing checked as well. Your fuel to air ratio is too lean and getting the work done that I’ve suggested should cure it.

Balance: Static measure of weight distribution in a racquet and measured from the butt end in inches and/or centimeters. Commonly referenced in “points” head light or head heavy – each “point” represents 1/8 inch. Generally speaking, heavier racquets are head light to maintain maneuverability, while most of today’s super-light racquets are head heavy to supply enough mass (which translates into power) to the area of the frame where the ball is being contacted. A 27 inch racquet with a balance point of 12-1/2 inches is 1 inch, or 8 points head light (even balance would be 13-1/2 inches). A 28 inch racquet with a balance point of 15 inches is 1 inch (or 8 points) head heavy. Basically, it’s how the weight of your racket is distributed. Head light rackets are head light with less weight towards the head of the racket and more weight towards the handle of the racket.
