1998 sebring lxi unlock safety lock?

My doors will not shut, would like to know if there is a safety lock on the door and how to turn off

Were kids riding in the back before this problem occurred? Kids like to flip the hasp down on the door latches so the door will not latch, just flip the hasp back up, you might have to pull the door handle to do this.
Although the child safety lock will not keep the doors from closing and latching,
there could be a child safety lock on the rear doors, it is normally on the rear of the door near the latch, it is a little lever that need to be flipped.
