How much would you pay for this bike (Demo 8)?

Truvativ Holzfeller AL 7050 Handle Bars
Original Price w/ out upgrade is 4756 Dollars.
The bike has some scratches but nothing bad.

Okay, you should have some knowledge about mountain bikes to answer this question. 500 Dollars for a 2008 Demo is just ridiculous.
As a general rule, ask about 66% of original list and hope for 50%. But don’t be surprised if you only get about 33%. Sorry, but resale on bikes sucks unless it has some historical value.
Fortunately scratches are expected on a mountain bike. If didn’t have any it wasn’t ridden.
Unfortunately many people have this stigma that if it doesn’t say Shimano it’s inferior. I know and so do you that SRAM is every bit as good. I’ve had my x9 for 8 years without a single hitch.
