Does my work place have the right to put a video camera up in the office that points directly at each desk?
My work place wants to put up cameras in the main office to make sure that we’re working. I feel that my privacy is being invaded, and my bosses just say “tuff” about it. We all take our lunch brakes inside the office to roam around the internet AND NO, NO ONE IN HERE LOOKS A PORN!!! So don’t go there. There has been no thefts, no dirty pictures, nothing…
Is there a penal code that I can shove in there faces, about how they can’t invade our privacy like this??? Please help!
The only thing the company cannot do is record your voice, that would conflict with the wiretapping act. They would have to inform you if they where to record your phonecalls.
